Doodlebug Calendar Project featuring Monthly "To Do" List

Hi there!  I'm popping in today with my take on a calendar themed project using Doodlebug's Month Daily Doodles Cardstock stickers and a basic hardbound spiral notebook from my stash.

I don't know about you, but I love to make lists!  My workspace is cluttered with them.  Working from home, I don't have many specific day-to-day appointments to keep track of, but I have a number of goals and things I need to accomplish each month.  I thought it would be awesome to have a dedicated space in which to keep them.

To create my "planner" I designed a simple header for each month using some of my favorite leftovers from various collections and then stamped mini hearts using a stamp set I had on hand for my bullet points for each month.  I then skipped a couple pages between months so I could have my lists extend past the first page and have a little space for any extra notes.  This is also handy because having all the embellishment along the top can get a bit bulky around the spiral so it's nice to spread the pages out a bit.

Doodlebug Easter Express Card Set

Hello there!  Last month I had to pleasure of creating some cards that I was able to take with me to CHA for Doodlebug to share in their booth and today I'm sharing them with everyone over on the Doodlebug blog.  It's a happy little card set featuring their new Easter Express collection!

Up first is a little card featuring the star of the show from the line: The little bunny with his train of supplies and friends.  I hand cut a wavy strip from the Easter Express Double Sided Cardstock and then stitched it on my sewing machine.  I then combined the doodle-pop for the locomotive with the cargo cars from the Icon Stickers to mix thing up and add some variety.

For my next card I wanted to use some of the super cute carrot images from the collection so I created a garden using two basic scallop border punches and tucked in little carrots from the icon stickers.  For my bunny I used another Doodle pop sticker.  It just hard to resist all the cute layers they have.  I finished off my card by cutting a sentiment from the Springtime Stripe paper and adding one of the adorable carrot from the Easter Cute Clips.

For my next card I wanted to showcase the darling tree house from this collection.  Isn't it the cutest?  This card was made almost entirely from the odds and ends pack.  They're a bit bigger than the icon stickers so they are ideal for scrapbooking when you have a little more space to fill, but I made them work here, but making a slightly larger card.  I cut apart the fence from to continue it on both sides of my little scene and finished things off with some twine bows for my banner and a little So Tweet birdie sprinkle.

For this sweet thank you card I paired the Polaroid frames from the odds and ends pack with all the adorable critters from the icon sticker sheet, filling in the backdrop behind them with some of the smaller prints from the 6x6 paper pad.

For my final card of the day I couldn't resist using the darling sunshine and cloud shapes.  Those sweet faces are so irresistible!  I created a sunburst pattern using the lemon swiss dot petite prints with the Sunny Studio Sun Ray die (more info HERE).
